A droplet ripples outward in the calm water of a mountain stream with obstacles of autumn leaves and fallen trees. Pure hues of acrylic were applied with squeeze bottles in several layers. A thin layer of interference violet was troweled over the paintings surface. Finally, two coats of varnish was applied to the finished surface.
